Privacy Policy

PathLog is an on-device trip recorder for iOS, provided by Underwater Volcano (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information PathLog handles — in short: your trips never leave your device, and we do not collect any personal information.

      PathLog does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data.
      It has no account system, no server, no analytics, and no advertising. Your trip recordings, place names and settings are stored only on your device.
    

1. Information We Collect

None. We do not collect, store, or process any personal information on our side. There is no sign-up, no login, no tracking, and no third-party SDK of any kind in the App.

2. Location

PathLog uses your device's GPS to record the route, time, distance and speed of trips you start yourself:

Location access is requested only when you start your first trip (While Using the App).
While a trip is running, location continues in the background so the route is recorded with the screen locked. When you end the trip, location tracking stops immediately.
Location data is written only to the App's local storage on your device. It is never uploaded, and we have no access to it.
You can revoke location permission at any time in iOS Settings; the App will simply be unable to record.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

Trip recordings (route samples, battery and network status, detected stops) and the place names you assign are stored only in the App's local storage on your device. Maps are provided by Apple MapKit under Apple's own privacy policy; the App does not send your location to anyone.

4. Data Deletion (Your Control)

You can delete individual trips inside the App. Uninstalling PathLog permanently removes all of its data — including every trip recording — from your device.

5. Children's Privacy

Because the App collects no information at all, it does not knowingly collect any information from children. The App is safe for use by all ages.

6. Changes to This Policy

If a future version of the App changes how data is handled, we will update this page and the App Store listing before that version is released.

《PathLog》是一款运行在本机的行程记录 iOS 应用，由上海水下火山科技有限公司（Underwater Volcano (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd）（以下简称"我们"）提供。本政策说明 PathLog 处理信息的方式——简单来说：你的行程从不离开你的设备，我们不收集任何个人信息。

      PathLog 不收集、不传输、不分享你的任何数据。
      它没有账号系统、没有服务器、没有统计分析、没有广告。行程记录、地点名称与设置只保存在你的设备上。
    

一、我们收集的信息

无。我们不在任何一侧收集、存储或处理你的个人信息。本应用没有注册、没有登录、没有追踪，也不包含任何第三方 SDK。

二、位置信息

PathLog 使用设备 GPS 记录由你主动开始的行程的路线、时间、距离和速度：

仅在你首次开始行程时请求定位授权（"使用 App 期间"）。
行程进行中，定位在后台持续，以便锁屏时也能记录轨迹；行程结束时立即停止定位。
定位数据只写入你设备上本应用的本地存储，绝不上传，我们也无法访问。
你可以随时在 iOS 设置中关闭定位授权，本应用将无法继续记录。

三、存储在你设备上的数据

行程记录（轨迹样本、电量与联网状态、疑似停留）和你为地点起的名称，仅保存在你设备上本应用的本地存储中。地图由 Apple MapKit 提供，受苹果自身隐私政策约束；本应用不会把你的位置发送给任何人。

四、数据删除（由你掌控）

你可以在应用内删除单条行程。卸载 PathLog 会从你的设备上永久移除其全部数据——包括所有行程记录。

五、儿童隐私

由于本应用完全不收集信息，我们不会有意收集任何儿童的任何信息。本应用适合所有年龄段使用。

六、政策变更

如果未来版本的本应用改变了数据处理方式，我们会在该版本发布前更新本页面及 App Store 页面。
